We stayed here for a few nights and it was an absolute dream. The drive up the mountain was thrilling, with breathtaking views at every turn. The owner was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains, perfect for nature lovers and photographers. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the coffee was top-notch. The hotel's remote location added to the tranquility and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend this charming hotel for a peaceful mountain retreat.

Although it is a 30 min drive from the base of the mountain. It is well worth the effort. The additional cost for a room with a view is good value as you get a different picture each time you look out of the window. The staff are really friendly and helpfull and the evening meal was like a banquet. A fab place to stay, where I've been able to take away some special memories. Thanks to Marco and his team for making it so good.
Think I might have got up too early one morning, as I ended up with a cold shower. Other than that no other complaints.

During my Christmas stay at this charming hotel, I was amazed by the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The value for money was excellent, as we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a wide range of options, including cold meats, cheese, cereals, croissants. The location was perfect for us, as we were able to easily access hiking trails right from the hotel. It was a hiker's delight! Additionally, the staff, particularly Tim, the assistant manager, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The decor in the hotel was a bit dated in style and color, which may not appeal to those seeking a more modern ambiance. However, this was a minor issue considering the overall charm and atmosphere of the hotel.

The hotel is situated up in the mountains in the tiny village. It gives you a chance to go for a perfect hiking and breathing very fresh air) Marco (the host) is a very welcoming guy who was always ready to help and advise the activities to do during th stay. There's a very nice restaurant and bar inside the hotel where you can enjoy the local cuisine!

I would happily return in the summer for some hiking in the Mont Blanc area. The location of the hotel, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views, is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered a variety of options. Additionally, the hotel provided free toiletries produced locally, showcasing their commitment to eco-friendliness.
The wifi connection was not reliable, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Ristoro Vagneur for one night. Marco, the owner, provided superb customer service and even picked us up from the train station. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere and offers incredible mountain views. The rooms were spotless and the food, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was delicious and fresh. Marco also gave us a map and directions for a great walk higher up the mountains. We will definitely be back again. Thank you, Marco!

The location was fantastic. The room was comfortable, and well appointed, and the the manager was very helpful. This was our first stay at a hotel other than one from the Acccor group (Novotel, Sofitel), and we were pleasantly surprised.
The continental breakfast was good, although we were surprised to be charged extra for a second cup of coffee. Perhaps we have been spoiled at Novotels!

I had a fantastic stay at a wonderful family-run lodging called Ristoro Vagneur. Marco, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The hotel is located in a traditional Valdostain village, which added to the charm. The staff was lovely, creating a familiar ambiance throughout my stay. The breakfast provided was plentiful and nutritious, and the evening meals of local dishes were excellent value for money. The location is truly fabulous, with stunning views of the surrounding scenery. my experience was amazing and I highly recommend having lunch or dinner here.
Can't fault anything about it! 😊

I chose Hotel Ristoro Vagneur because I wanted to visit La Mothe Castle, and its location was perfect for that. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi throughout the property. This made it easy for me to stay connected and share my travel experiences with friends and family. I also enjoyed the convenience of the express check-in and express check-out services.
Due to the time of year and the location being in the Alps, it was hard to find shops. Also, we needed a rental car to access the location.
